Dr Pascal Ebhohimen was the former Head and Director of Claims Resolution Department of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) where he retired recently. He was also the Director, Strategy Development Department; Deputy Director (Human Resource Department; Deputy Director, Research, Policy and International Relations Department of the Corporation.
He was once appointed Executive Director for the African Continental Bank(ACB in distress) and African Trust Bank (FATB in distress) for purpose of restructuring and turnaround for Purchase by prospective investors.
As Head and Director of Strategy (NDIC), he had the singular opportunity to initiate and facilitate the development of a five year strategic plan using a Balanced Scorecard Approach (BSC) and served in the implementation committee of the Financial System Strategy (FSS2020) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Dr Ebhohimen was a senior lecturer at the University of Benin (1990) whose responsibility was research, Training and community service. As a seasoned trainer, with background in education (Chemistry/Biology), and a professional teacher, he is well grounded on matters of curriculum development and in the management of the training function.
He has a Masters degree in Management and PHD in Educational planning with specialization in Resources Allocation and Systems efficiency, and MBA in Financial Management.
He has had training in the best known business schools and executive development programs in the USA including the Arthur De- little Management Institute in Collaboration with Harvard University, Michigan University(Ross school of Business), Virginia University(Darden Business school), Booth school of Business, University of Chicago, Wharton school of Business, University of Pennsylvania, Balanced Scorecard Institute in collaboration with George Washington University, Alexandra, Washington DC. Also, in the UK: RIPA international, London Business school and here in Nigeria, FITC and Lagos Business School (LBS). He had some training in the Financial Stability Institute, Basel in Switzerland. Overall, Training covered Strategy, leadership, Human Resources Management, Enterprise restructuring, Finance and Banking Regulation.
